Alexis Ecoff MA, LMFT, MCAP

Clinical Director

As the Clinical Director for Right Path Recovery in San Diego, Alexis brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the field of counseling and therapy. She has a strong academic background with a B.S. in Psychology and a B.S. in Family and Child Sciences from Florida State University, and an M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of San Diego. Alexis is licensed in Marriage and Family Therapy in California, Florida, Connecticut, and Massachusetts, and is a member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT).

Her work primarily involves helping families, couples, children, and groups, with a special focus on addiction and recovery. Alexis employs an integrated, systemic approach in her counseling sessions, aiming to empower her clients to identify and change aspects of their lives that aren’t working for them. This process helps clients recognize their strengths, utilize their resources, and take steps towards achieving their goals.

Additionally, Alexis has significant experience in the administrative aspects of behavioral health organizations. She has played a key role in developing, constructing, and managing various facilities, ensuring they meet state licensing requirements and obtain The Joint Commission accreditation. Her leadership and expertise in both therapy and administration make her an invaluable asset to Right Path Recovery and the broader therapeutic community.
